# List Sessions

|
|
Not sure if `tmux` is running or, if it is, which sessions are available?
|
|
You can list all the currently running sessions right from the command-line.
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
$ tmux ls
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
This command is shorthand for:
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
$ tmux list-sessions
|
|
```
